The PTA were delighted to sponsor this year's SciFest on the 14 November 2019.  The PTA provide the prizes for the students and the winning form as well as 'thank you' gifts for the participating judges.  This year's standard was very high, with only a mark separating the top five students. The prizes were presented by Headmistress Joan Kirby and PTA Chair Krysia Lynch. 

Ms Kirby spoke about the foundations of Sci Fest and its importance in leading to our recent successes in the BT Young Scientist Competition.  Krysia Lynch, also a scientist  by training, spoke to the students about science having curiosity, rigour discipline and logic at its heart.  Before handing out the prizes she told the students, on behalf of the parents, never to lose their curiosity and always to keep asking the big questions!
