IB Self Study
St Andrew's College was awarded its IB Authorisation in November 1984, we are the 235th IB school in existence. Every 5 years all IB schools undergo a reflective process called a self-study. This is a whole programme process involving all of the stakeholders. It is a very beneficial as it allows us all to take stock of what we do and to compare it to the IB Programme Standards and Practices. Approximately 30% of IB schools undergo Evaluation Visits at the time of their self study. This involves a team of IB evaluators visiting the school for a number of days to meet all of the stakeholders.
St Andrew's had a very successful programme evaluation in 2019 and we are now coming to the end of our current self-study and evaluation cycle. We recently completed a self study during the 2023-2024 academic year and we look forward to welcoming visitors from the IB in November 2024.
