The IB Diploma Programme is an option available to Senior Cycle students instead of the Leaving Certificate. 

For students already enrolled in the College, an application to join the IB should be made to the IB Coordinator (ibo@st-andrews.ie). The closing date for these applications is 20 January of 4^th year.

For students not enrolled in the College, an application to join the College must first be made through the standard admissions procedure as detailed in the admissions section of  this website or by contacting admissions@st-andrews.ie. The IB office is not able to process admissions. 

The IB Diploma Programme is a pre-university academically challenging course. It is suitable for students with a good academic standing who are willing to work hard and have the ability for independent study. Successful applicants will demonstrate to the IB Coordinator that they meet these criteria.
