The World finals of the World Schools Debating Championships took place in Oxford University on the weekend of 9 March.  On the day, there were over 240 students (120 teams) from all over the world, as far as Hong Kong to Canada. We were very proud of our two Transition Year students, Alisha Manoj (4RD) and Zahra Nassiri (4ON) who represented the College and Ireland. Over 2000 students (1000 teams) took part in various regional tournaments all over the world to qualify for the finals in Oxford. 

Alisha and Zahra placed 4th, 2nd and 3rd in their four respective debates - what an achievement!
