Screenagers - Originally developed as a documentary created and directed by Delaney Ruston, a physician and film director, to describe growing up in a tech-saturated world. This organisation works to create free communication to help parents understand the implication of technology and how to balance screen time and screen-free time. Currently, the organisation runs a Tech Talk Tuesday podcast that covers issues such as setting up sleep routine for back to school, body image concerns with social media and digital binging.
COR - Students are confused about how to evaluate online information. Stanford's Civic Online Reasoning (COR) curriculum provides free lessons and assessments that help you teach students to evaluate online information that affects them, their communities, and the world. From history teachers to educational technology specialists to librarians, those who have become familiar with COR are using the lessons and assessments to engage students in combating misinformation and to provide a skill set to foster empowered citizenship in the digital age.
