Welcome to K1!

I am so pleased that I will have the pleasure of learning and growing with your students this year in K1.  My name is Angela Westbrooks. I am an American teacher with a degree in Education from Gonzaga University. For the past 13 years I have lived here in Ireland. Over that time, I have had the privilege of growing in my career as well as growing my family. I have three children, two wonderful daughters, a passionate 9-year-old and a creative 6-year-old and my soon to be 2 year old son.

I have been teaching here at St Andrews for the past 12 years in a variety of classes and age groups. I am thrilled that I will spend this year in such a special age group.  I recognise what a pivotal year this is in your child’s development as a learner and person. Thank you for trusting me with your most precious gift. I cannot wait to get to know each one of them.
