Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon Connor Green (Class of 1997) has performed a pioneering hip transplant procedure on a 12-year-old boy who was unable to walk, attend school or sleep properly replacing the boy's damaged hip joint using a donor femoral head bone and cartilage.
