Junior As reach League Finals
Congratulations to the Junior A Girls Hockey team who qualified for the final of the League with a nail-biting win against Mount Anville. They fought back from a goal down in the first half to tie the game at 1-1 after 20 minutes. They had a number of chances to seal the game in the second half but were foiled by the Mount Anville keeper. The match went to 1 v 1's with the St Andrew's keeper Iseult Cambay pulling off a number of saves before Martha McCready sealed the win for St Andrew's with the ninth 1 v 1 effort. The girls now face Muckross in the final at a time and date yet to be confirmed.
Well done to all - players and coaches.
